Slovene
Slovenščina
Slovene has kept the dual, a grammatical form reserved for exactly two people or things, which almost every other Indo-European language has abandoned. For such a small territory it is remarkably fragmented: dozens of dialects are counted, some barely intelligible to one another. Its alphabet adds only three special signs, č, š and ž.
